
It was another excellent weekend of football for Kingsley Olympic FC, with players across all age groups producing performances full of effort, quality, and teamwork. From our Mini Kickers through to the U12s, the commitment and attitude on display were a real credit to the club.
Mini Kickers
• Fin
Fin was recognised for excellent listening and confidence in front of goal. His shooting was sharp throughout, and his ability to take on instructions and apply them immediately during the session stood out.
• Charlie
Charlie was rewarded for strong team play, consistently looking to support teammates and play with awareness. A very positive and selfless performance.
Under 7s
• Referee Player of the Match – Finley
Finley delivered a standout individual performance, remaining a constant threat throughout the game. His passing quality, intelligent movement, and mature decision making caused the opposition problems all match. A well deserved Player of the Match display.
• Parents’ Player of the Match – Alfie
Alfie led the line superbly, battling from start to finish and never giving up. His work rate set the standard for the team, and his selfless play benefited those around him. A performance full of effort, determination, and team spirit.
Under 8s (Friendly - Saturday 11th April)
• Parents’ Player of the Match – Alfie B
An outstanding display from the new signing. Alfie B made an immediate impact with a very physical performance, winning numerous battles across the pitch. His effort and commitment were rightly rewarded during the game, marking a fantastic addition to the squad.
• Linesman’s Player (Gerald’s Selection) – Kobi
With the match being a friendly, Gerald ran the line and was invited to select the manager’s player. His choice was Kobi, who impressed with quick feet, attacking intent, and confident skill when going forward. A strong all round performance.
Under 10s
• Parents’ Player of the Match – Sebastian
Sebastian was excellent in both positions, covering huge areas of the pitch with relentless energy. His accuracy, passion, and intensity set the tone in what was a fantastic team performance.
• Coaches’ Player of the Match – The Whole Team
This week’s coaches’ award went to the entire squad. It was an unbelievable team effort, with every player giving absolutely everything. Passion, energy, and outstanding teamwork made this performance impossible to single out one individual.
Well done to Ivo, Jaxon, Jesse, Jacob, Sebastian, Joshua, Morgan, Gerald, and Ben. You made the coaches incredibly proud.
Under 11s
• Dan Grainger
A wonderful display in goal, producing several top quality saves at key moments. A calm and reliable performance that anchored the team.
• Jacob Gillis
Jacob delivered a fantastic all round performance. A true team player who was always willing to go the extra mile, showing commitment, effort, and selflessness throughout.
Under 12s
• Eva
Eva was outstanding at the back, producing a composed and disciplined defensive performance. Excellent positional awareness and game understanding ensured stability and organisation throughout.
• George
George impressed on the left wing with constant energy and attacking intent. His movement stretched the opposition, and his willingness to contribute both offensively and defensively completed a strong all round display.
