Kingsley Olympic FC are delighted to celebrate a fantastic achievement for our Under 7s, who have been crowned Trophy Group winners following an outstanding run of performances. The team completed the group stage unbeaten across five matches, securing maximum points and finishing top of the table in emphatic style.

This success is a testament to the players hard work, enthusiasm, and commitment throughout the campaign. From the first whistle to the final game, the squad demonstrated excellent teamwork, growing confidence, and a real determination to improve week on week.

The journey began with a dominant home performance against Lapel Colts, where Kingsley set the tone early with a convincing 6–0 victory. The team showed great attacking intent and discipline, laying strong foundations for the games ahead.

They followed this with another impressive home win, overcoming Forest Falcons East 4–2 in a competitive and well fought match. The players showed resilience and composure, managing the game effectively while continuing to play positive football.

Away from home, the team continued to excel. A trip to Starz Academy saw Kingsley produce an excellent attacking display, coming away with a 5–3 win in an entertaining encounter that highlighted their confidence going forward.

Another standout performance came against Wombourne Allstars Wanderers, where the team delivered one of their most complete displays of the group, securing a commanding 8–2 victory away from home.

The campaign concluded in style with a remarkable 10–1 win against Kewford Eagles Central. This final fixture perfectly summed up the team’s progression clinical in attack, organised defensively, and full of energy and enthusiasm.

While the results speak for themselves, the true success of this group lies in their development as young players. Across the five matches, the Under 7s showed clear improvements in their understanding of the game, their ability to work as a unit, and their confidence both in and out of possession.

Equally important has been the positive attitude and sportsmanship displayed by the players. Their enjoyment of the game, support for one another, and willingness to learn have been evident throughout the group stage.

To go unbeaten and top the group is a superb achievement at any level, and the manner in which this young team has done so makes it even more special. Kingsley Olympic FC are incredibly proud of every player involved, as well as the coaches and supporters who have contributed to this success.

This trophy group victory represents an important milestone in the players early football journeys and sets a strong platform for continued development in the seasons ahead.
