Kingsley Olympic is proud to present this week’s Team of the Week, recognising players across all age groups who have demonstrated excellent attitude, effort, and application. Selection is based on commitment, teamwork, and individual development, both in training and on match days.

Mini Kickers

Olly
Olly demonstrated excellent engagement throughout the session, showing enthusiasm, confidence, and a positive attitude. He displayed good ball control and dribbling skills, consistently participating and responding well to coaching guidance.

Luca
Luca produced a composed and disciplined performance, showing good awareness and decision-making. His passing was effective, and he worked well within the group, supporting teammates and contributing to structured play.

Under 7s

Alfie
Alfie delivered a very strong all round performance. In the first half, he showed focus and composure in goal, making several important saves and communicating well. In the second half, when playing outfield, he demonstrated determination, resilience, and a strong work ethic, consistently competing for the ball and supporting his teammates. An excellent example of versatility and commitment.

Ezra
Ezra was outstanding throughout the fixture, displaying high levels of concentration, awareness, and determination. He made several important defensive interventions, showed good positional understanding, and worked tirelessly to protect the defensive unit. His commitment and discipline were key factors in the team’s performance.

Under 8s

Alfie
Alfie produced a reliable and well disciplined defensive performance. He maintained good positional awareness, made sensible decisions, and contributed to the team’s defensive organisation.

Nico
Nico delivered a strong all round performance, contributing positively in both attack and defence. His work rate and attitude were excellent, and he was rewarded for his efforts, reflecting his overall contribution to the team.

Under 10s

Jesse
Jesse was highly effective in defence, showing strong positional awareness and timing. He consistently made well judged tackles and demonstrated leadership by organising his area, making it difficult for the opposition to create chances.

Morgan
Morgan was a consistent attacking presence down the right hand side. She demonstrated good movement, awareness, and decision making, regularly finding space and contributing positively to the team’s attacking play.

Under 11s

Jacob Gillis
Jacob delivered a committed and disciplined performance, combining effective tackling with good ball control. He demonstrated excellent versatility and a strong team ethic, always willing to adapt and play in different positions as required.

Sam Bull
Sam showed high levels of energy, commitment, and respect for teammates and coaches. He demonstrated adaptability and a positive attitude throughout, contributing effectively in multiple roles and setting a strong example.

Under 12s

Jenson
Jenson delivered an excellent performance in goal. He showed outstanding decision making throughout the match, demonstrating good positioning, bravery, and composure under pressure. His effort and attitude were commendable.

Alex
Alex produced a strong midfield performance, covering significant ground and competing for every ball. He worked tirelessly in both attack and defence, showing determination, energy, and a real commitment to supporting the team in all areas.
