Kingsley Olympic Team Of The week Game Week 22

Tom Harris15 Feb - 19:45

Sunday 15th February 2026

It was another busy weekend scheduled for Kingsley Olympic, but unfortunately the weather had other ideas.

Due to poor pitch conditions and ongoing overnight rain, the U10’s, U11’s and U12’s matches were postponed this morning.

While it’s always disappointing for players who are ready and excited to compete, the focus now shifts to training, preparation and being ready for rearranged fixtures in the coming weeks.

Mini Kickers

Despite the weather disruption, our Mini Kickers sessions continue to show fantastic development and enthusiasm.

MK's Session - 07.02.26

• Travis - Excellent dribbling and confident shooting throughout the session.

• Luca - Strong teamwork and positive attitude, constantly supporting teammates.

MK's Session - 14.02.26

• Arthur - Brilliant shooting on display, showing great improvement in technique.

• Ronnie - Impressive dribbling and excellent teamwork in small sided games.

It’s fantastic to see the foundations being built at this early stage, confidence on the ball, teamwork and enjoyment of the game.

U7’s

• Finley - Outstanding battling spirit and a never give up attitude.

• Zander - Showed real determination and resilience from start to finish.

At this age group, effort and attitude are just as important as ability, and both players demonstrated exactly what Kingsley Olympic football is about, commitment, courage and teamwork.

U8’s

A strong performance from the U8’s this weekend against tough opposition, with several standout contributions across the pitch.

• Dylan - A constant threat down the left hand side, battling against a strong team and making countless interceptions to break up attacks and drive his side forward.

• Kobi - A real danger up front, consistently troubling the opposition defence and forcing them to work hard to contain his attacking threat.

Special Mention

• Reece - A superb performance between the posts. Reece made countless fantastic saves to deny the opposition, showing strong hands and calm composure while dealing confidently with everything that came his way.

The attitude, work rate and bravery on display reflect the continued development within the squad, and it’s brilliant to see the team growing in confidence each week.

A big thank you to our families, volunteers and supporters for their continued backing, With fixtures being postponed, we now look forward to a busy run of rescheduled matches. Training remains vital, and all squads will continue preparing with intensity and focus.

We hope the weather improves so that all of our teams can return to competitive action next weekend and continue building momentum on the pitch.
