U9's competed in the tournament on Saturday, from the very first kick off, the team were focused, full of energy and ready to give it there all, and they did just that, going unbeaten in the group stages with some fantastic goals scored, they followed up with a last 16 finish, narrowly missing out on a quarter final place after a fantastic performance which had everything you would expect from two teams giving there all, the biggest compliment of the day was the Ref in the last match who came over to the coaches at the end to say how impressed he was with the attitudes and performances of our U9 players, following up with "it was a pleasure to referee and watch these group of players on the pitch today, they were all fantastic"

The U11's, competed in the tournament on Sunday with the tournament being a 5 a side format, the U11's competed as two teams with the intention on giving all the players as much playing / equal time as possible, The U11's also played there part in giving there all and played superbly throughout the tournament, having progressed from the group stages, they continued there fine form, narrowly missing out on reaching the final after a battling performance that showed courage and commitment in the semi final, were proud to have gone head to head with the team that ultimately won the tournament, taking on the eventful champions brought out the best in us and demonstrated our ability to compete a high level.

A massive well done to you all, we walk away proud of our efforts and excited for what's ahead, this tournament was a crucial step in our journey and the lessons we've learned will serve as fuel as we progress for future challenges, the foundation is strong, the belief is growing and the future looks bright.
