Kingsley Olympic – Team of the Week
Mini Kickers – Players of the Week
Arthur – Showed incredible determination by continuing to play with enthusiasm despite picking up a small knock. His energy lifted the whole group, and he never let the setback stop him from joining in every drill with a smile.
Finlay – Demonstrated fantastic resilience, pushing through an injury to stay involved and positive throughout the session. His commitment and willingness to keep going set a brilliant example to his teammates.
KOFC U8’s
Parents’ Player of the Match – Nico
A standout all-round performance. Nico worked tirelessly from the first whistle to the last, covering every blade of grass. His constant effort and determination helped both in attack and defence, making him a key part of the team’s display.
Managers’ Player of the Match – Alfie
Another rock-solid defensive display. Alfie’s positioning and tackling were excellent, and he gave the team real confidence at the back. His calmness under pressure and strong challenges ensured the opposition found it difficult to break through.
Special Mention – Kobi
Produced some real moments of magic with his individual brilliance. Kobi was fearless on the ball, taking on defenders and creating chances. His work rate matched his skill, and he gave everything for the team from start to finish.
KOFC U10’s
Max – Put in a goalkeeper’s performance to remember. From the warm-up he was focused and sharp, and in the match he pulled off multiple superb saves – sometimes in quick succession – to keep his side in the game. His distribution from both feet and hands was outstanding, starting attacks and relieving pressure whenever needed.
Ben – Led the line with strength and determination. Ben gave the opposition defence a torrid time, using his fantastic footwork to get past players and hold the ball up well. At times, the opposition had to commit three defenders just to try and contain him, which shows the level of threat he posed all game.
KOFC U11’s
Theo Gaston – A commanding presence in defence. Theo read the game well, won his one-on-one battles consistently, and wasn’t afraid to put in strong tackles. His composure at the back gave the whole team a platform to build on.
George Ward – A constant danger going forward. George showed great bravery by continuing to drive at defenders even after receiving some heavy tackles. His pace and directness created chances for the team and kept the opposition under pressure.
KOFC U12’s
Smithy – Produced a striker’s complete performance. Not only did he score two well-taken goals, but he also set up two more for teammates with clever passes and movement. His quick feet and sharp decision-making caused problems for the opposition defence all game.
Eva – Delivered a defensive masterclass. Eva was solid and composed at the back, reading the game superbly and making crucial interceptions and tackles. Her leadership and calmness under pressure were key to keeping the defence organised and strong throughout the match.
A massive congratulations to all the players mentioned above and to every single player who represented Kingsley Olympic this weekend. Your effort, commitment, and teamwork continue to make the club proud.
