KOFC TEAM OF THE WEEK

Tom Harris23 Nov - 16:02

Sunday 23/11/25

Another fantastic weekend across the club, with standout performances from every age group. From Mini Kickers all the way through to our U12’s, the effort, commitment and passion shown was outstanding. Here is this week’s Kingsley Olympic Team of the Week.

Mini Kickers
Charlie Andrews

Charlie produced an excellent display in goal, showing bravery, focus and great reflexes throughout the session. His distribution was equally impressive, playing calm, accurate passes to help the team build confidently from the back. A brilliant all-round performance.

Marley

Marley brought superb energy from start to finish. His high tempo through every drill lifted the intensity of the whole group, and he worked tirelessly with a smile on his face. His enthusiasm and commitment made him a standout this week.

KOFC U7’s

Doug – Referee’s Player of the Week

Doug earned the referee’s praise after delivering a strong, composed performance throughout the match. He played with discipline, showed great positional awareness and remained focused from start to finish. A fantastic performance to be proud of.

Alfie

Alfie’s determination was a highlight of the first half, battling relentlessly and showing a true “never give up” attitude in every challenge. His work rate in winning the ball back was outstanding.
Stepping into goal for the second half, he excelled once again, showing bravery and concentration. A superb all-round contribution well done, Alfie.

Parents' Player – Thomas

A solid captain’s performance at the back. Thomas led by example, organised the players around him and defended with maturity and confidence throughout.

Manager’s Player – Clarence

Another excellent performance from Clarence. Calm and confident on the ball, he linked play superbly and created multiple chances for his teammates. His composure and vision were rewarded with a standout display.

Special Mention – The Entire Team

Every single U7 player deserves enormous credit. The team implemented the instructions from training perfectly and displayed one of their best performances of the season. Their attitude, teamwork and effort were outstanding.

KOFC U10’s
Parents’ POTM – Jesse (“The Wall Heath Maldini”)

Jesse delivered a phenomenal defensive performance, showing strength, intelligence and composure throughout. His belief in himself shone through, taking on challenges with confidence and producing key moments at crucial times. Even tonsillitis couldn’t keep him down an incredible effort that would give Thomas Tuchel a tactical headache!

Coaches’ POTM – The Whole Team

A truly unforgettable performance from the entire U10 squad. Every single player gave everything from first whistle to last, showing heart, desire and togetherness. A game that will be remembered for years outstanding from all involved.

KOFC U12’s
Manager’s POTM – Logan

Playing at right-back, Logan delivered an exceptional defensive display, consistently stopping the opposition and showing maturity in his decision making. Going forward, he contributed superbly with clever through balls and driving runs, always ensuring he recovered into position. A brilliant, disciplined performance.

Across every age group today, Kingsley Olympic players showed the very best of grassroots football, teamwork, commitment, respect and passion. The club could not be prouder of each and every player who represented KOFC this weekend.

A special congratulations goes to our KOFC U7’s, who competed in their first ever league game today. You were fantastic and represented the club with pride.

Well done to all players, coaches and parents for another brilliant week of football.
