
Mini Kickers
The future continues to look bright for Kingsley Olympics Mini Kickers, with another week of fantastic effort, learning and teamwork on display.
Travis earns recognition for his excellent teamwork. He worked brilliantly alongside his teammates, sharing the ball well and showing a growing understanding of how to play together as a unit.
Fin is recognised for his outstanding listening skills. His focus during coaching points and willingness to apply instructions in practice made a real difference to his development this week. His attitude sets a great example for the group.
At this early stage of the football journey, building confidence, understanding and enjoyment is key and the Mini Kickers are thriving in all areas.
U7’s
It was a hard fought and competitive game for the U7’s, with determination and resilience shown throughout.
Referee Player of the Match – Finley
Finley delivered a fantastic performance from start to finish. In a fiercely contested match, he never gave up, constantly battling and maintaining a positive attitude. His passing was sharp, his dribbling was exciting to watch, and he continued to push forward even when the game became tough. A brilliant all round display and thoroughly deserved recognition.
Parents Player of the Match – Ezra
Ezra produced another outstanding performance, particularly in defence where he was solid and dependable throughout. His passing allowed the team to build with confidence, and his determination in such a competitive fixture stood out. He battled tirelessly and fully earned his award.
U8’s
The U8’s produced a performance full of quality and belief in what proved to be a significant confidence boost for the squad.
Parents Player – Clarence
Clarence delivered a top quality performance, showcasing superb skill and quick feet that caused the opposition constant problems going forward. Just as importantly, he worked hard defensively to support the team, it was a complete and influential performance.
Manager’s Player – Dylan
Another outstanding display from Dylan, who won countless battles all over the pitch. His energy, determination and work rate from start to finish set the tone for the team.
Special Mention – The Whole Team
A superb collective performance from the lads. This was a much needed confidence booster that demonstrated exactly what this group is capable of. Praise from the opposition manager underlined just how impressive the team was on the day.
U10’s
Another competitive fixture saw the U10’s show adaptability, effort and strong defensive moments.
Coaches Player – Jax
Jax was fantastic in a new position, embracing the challenge with a strong, battling performance. His highlight moment came with a superb last ditch sliding tackle that prevented a clear opportunity. A display full of commitment and bravery.
Parents Player – Jacob
Jacob moved across multiple positions during the game and contributed positively in each role. His work rate was excellent, and a perfectly lofted through ball created a fantastic attacking opportunity for the team. A well rounded and selfless performance.
U11’s
The U11’s showed strong attacking intent and relentless work rate throughout their fixture.
Jacob Gillis
Displayed excellent feet and skill on the ball, consistently driving the team forward and putting them on the front foot. His creativity and control were key components of the team’s attacking play.
Joey Webb
Worked tirelessly from the first whistle to the last. His energy levels never dropped, and his willingness to press, track back and support teammates highlighted his commitment to the side.
U12’s
The U12’s once again demonstrated discipline, organisation and leadership across the pitch.
Player of the Match – Logan
A commanding display in defence from Logan. Reliable, composed and determined, he led by example throughout. The kind of player every team would value, consistent, committed and dependable.
Special Mentions
Alex – Operated as the midfield general, dictating play and linking defence with attack effectively.
Jenson – Another strong performance in goal. His decision-making continues to improve, and his consistency between the posts has become a major strength for the team.
Across all age groups, the effort, attitude and development on display this week reflect the core values of Kingsley Olympic. From the Mini Kickers taking their first steps in the game to the older age groups showing leadership and resilience, every squad continues to represent the club with pride. The progress being made week by week is clear to see, and the commitment from players, coaches and parents alike ensures that Kingsley Olympic continues to move forward together.
