SDYFL Match Weekend 28 - Sunday 29th March 2026

Another fantastic weekend for Kingsley Olympic saw players across all age groups deliver impressive performances, showcasing effort, development, and a real passion for the game. Congratulations to all of this week’s standout players.

Mini Kickers
Arthur
Arthur showed excellent engagement throughout the session, demonstrating great enthusiasm and a real willingness to learn. His positive attitude and focus ensured he was fully involved from start to finish, making strong progress across all activities.

Charlie
Charlie produced a very composed performance, highlighted by his good passing and awareness. He is beginning to understand the importance of teamwork, consistently looking to involve others and move the ball with purpose.

Under 7s
Referee’s Player of the Match – Zander
Zander delivered a strong and resilient performance, displaying fantastic ability across the pitch. He remained focused from the first whistle to the last, working tirelessly for the team and stepping up in key moments. His determination and consistency set him apart, making him a thoroughly deserved recipient of this award.

Parents’ Player of the Match – Oscar
Oscar put in an excellent all round performance, combining hard work with real quality on the ball. He stayed composed under pressure and showed great resilience, never giving up and always looking to influence the game positively. His effort and commitment were clear to see, earning him well deserved recognition.

Under 8s
Clarence
Another solid and dependable performance from Clarence, who worked relentlessly for his teammates throughout. His attitude and effort continue to impress, and it is clear to see his development week on week. This was yet another performance worthy of the Manager’s Player of the Match recognition.

Nico
A fantastic performance from Nico, who showed great determination in every challenge. His confidence was evident throughout, as he got stuck in and made a number of excellent tackles. It was brilliant to see him playing with real belief and energy again.

Under 10s
Coaches Player of the Match – Sebastian
Sebastian produced another very strong performance, working tirelessly to drive the team forward. He combined defensive responsibility with attacking intent, making important tackles and contributing creatively in advanced areas. A well rounded display that fully deserves Player of the Match recognition.

Parents Player of the Match – Ben
Ben led the line superbly, making his presence felt throughout the game. His communication with teammates was excellent, helping to organise and encourage those around him. Constantly posing an attacking threat, he played a key role in the team’s forward play.

Special Mention – Jax
Jax delivered a tireless performance, contributing significantly both defensively and in attack. His work rate and presence across the pitch were outstanding, and he played a crucial role in supporting the team in all areas. On another day, with more awards available, this recognition would certainly have been his.

Under 11s
Joey Webb
Joey covered every blade of grass, and then some, in a performance full of energy, determination, and drive. His relentless work rate and willingness to support both defence and attack made him a key figure throughout the game.

George Ward
George controlled the midfield with a truly commanding display. His passing range, vision, and work rate were exceptional, allowing him to dictate the tempo of the game and influence play consistently. A composed and highly effective performance.

Another brilliant weekend for all our teams proudly representing Kingsley Olympic. The commitment, development, and team spirit on display continue to make the club proud.
