KOFC TEAM THE WEEK

Tom Harris2 Nov 2025 - 20:15

Sunday 02/11/25

Each week across our age groups, players continue to show outstanding development both technically and mentally. From our youngest Mini Kickers all the way through to the U12s, the commitment, attitude and passion for football has been clear to see. This week’s Team of the Week recognises individuals who demonstrated exceptional effort, teamwork and quality in their performances. Every player selected earned their place through hard work and a positive approach, making the club proud.

Mini Kickers

Arlo
Arlo impressed with outstanding listening skills and a brilliant attitude throughout the session. He applied himself in every drill and showed real enthusiasm from start to finish. During the game he displayed relentless energy, working tirelessly despite facing older and bigger players. A confident performance from a young player with fantastic potential.

Finley
Finley showed excellent concentration in the coaching drills and carried that same effort into the game. His dribbling ability stood out, demonstrating quick feet, close control and confidence under pressure. Against older opposition he remained composed and positive, showing great promise for the future.

Under 8s

Nico
Nico produced his best performance in a Kingsley shirt. He was exceptional in midfield, covering every blade of grass, breaking up play and driving the team forward. His work rate and vision were instrumental, influencing the game in every area of the pitch. A complete midfield display.

Kobi
Kobi delivered a strong performance up front, showing great composure and sharp decision-making in attacking positions. He was clinical in front of goal, taking his chances well and constantly threatening the opposition’s defence. A confident showing from a developing striker.

Under 11s

Jack Bywater
Jack put on a solid and determined display across multiple positions, showing versatility and maturity. Whether defending, pressing or supporting attacks, he remained disciplined and fully committed. A dependable performance that contributed greatly to the team effort.

Daniel Grainger
Daniel demonstrated excellent goalkeeping qualities throughout. His handling was reliable and he remained calm under pressure when the game tightened. He made difficult situations look controlled and once again proved to be a steady presence for the team.

Under 12s

Louie
Louie produced a standout performance on the right side, contributing both defensively and offensively. He won the ball back frequently, retained possession intelligently and showed drive going forward. Although mainly attacking, he tracked back when needed, including a crucial goal-line clearance. A well-rounded and disciplined display.

Miller
Miller was a constant nuisance in the centre of the pitch, earning his “pit bull” reputation once again. With a free role, he balanced his responsibilities superbly, helping the attack while also offering cover defensively. When tasked with a man-marking role, he carried it out with great discipline, reducing pressure on his teammates. A hardworking and intelligent performance.

The club would like to thank all players, parents and volunteers for their continued support and involvement. The effort shown every week is a credit to the club and the community around it.
